🔶 IRGC spokesperson: The U.S. “Iron Gate” plan to besiege Iran will not achieve its goals

Hussein Mahbi, spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said that the ongoing war by the United States against the Islamic Republic is “a combined war that covers both the military and the economic arenas,” and warned of the possibility that American forces could target Iranian vessels.

According to Fars News Agency, Mahbi added: “In wartime, such incidents may happen, but what matters is that we will hit them multiple times, and more importantly, the enemy cannot break the will of the Iranian nation with such actions and achieve its objectives.”

The IRGC spokesperson also claimed that the United States’ plans to impose an economic blockade against Iran have failed, and added: “The United States can never carry out the economic blockade in the sense that it is pursuing, using the different titles and plans it presents.”

Mahbi continued: “If the United States is serious in this regard, we are more serious, and we have considered the necessary measures for maintaining relations with neighboring countries.”
