🔻 Ismail Baghaei, Spokesman of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, rejected the United Arab Emirates’ statements claiming that Iran fired a missile at that country.
Mr. Baghaei said in a statement that these “accusations” by the UAE are “baseless.”
The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: “This conduct by the UAE is contrary to the principle of good neighborliness and disrupts ongoing efforts to strengthen trust among the countries of the region and prevent a further escalation of insecurity in the region.”
Hours after the UAE announced “a missile launch by Iran,” it said it has suspended, until further notice, all commercial dealings and financial transactions with Iran.
With the start of attacks by the United States and Israel against Iran, the UAE was targeted by Iranian attacks more than other countries in the region. However, in the wave of Iranian attacks that began after the signing of a memorandum of understanding, the UAE was not targeted by Iran’s attacks.
