Pyongyang has warned Seoul of a harsh response in case of its aggressive actions, Kim Yo Jong, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, said in a statement.

“I warn those who are interfering in the work of repairing the fence of other's home and crying out for ‘military counteraction,’ carried away by ill-advised bravery. If they make a ‘mistake’ wittingly or unwittingly for a moment with morbid ill-advised bravery, they will have to be prepared for everything,” the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) quoted her statement.

“Our new responsive means will be put on alert in all parts of the southern border and the loudspeakers against the ROK will be on standby in a matter of days,” she stressed.
