Iraq exported more than 30 million barrels of crude oil from the Strait of Hormuz between July 13 and August 13, which is about 29% of the country’s monthly average before the war.

Before the war, Iraq exported an average of 105 million barrels of oil per month from this strait, most of which was carried out from southern terminals near Basra.

Ali Nazzar, head of Iraq’s state-owned Oil Marketing Company, emphasized that in the month of Tir (July), between 35.5 million and 37 million barrels passed through this strait.

He said another 7 million barrels were also exported via the Iraq pipeline to the world of Turkey.
