Iranian state news agency IRNA, on Sunday, the 5th of Mehr, citing a source close to the Islamic Republic’s delegation in New York, wrote that the delegation does not have a program for a new round of talks with the United States and that Tehran’s positions from last Tuesday were conveyed to the American side via the Qatari mediator.

The source added that the Islamic Republic is currently waiting for the United States’ response and that Abbas Araghchi, the foreign minister, will return to New York on Tuesday after carrying out the planned steps.

Fars News Agency, also affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, likewise, citing a source close to the negotiating team, rejected reports about the start of a new round of indirect negotiations between the Islamic Republic and the United States.
