Iranian-regime-backed Houthis said they were not involved in a drone attack on a U.S. gas storage ship on Wednesday at Egypt’s Damietta port.
The Saudi news agency “Saba,” which is affiliated with the Houthis, reported—citing one of the officials from the foreign affairs office of the Islamic Republic-backed group—that “the claims that the group targeted a ship in Damietta port in the Republic of Egypt are baseless.”
So far, Egyptian officials have not attributed responsibility for the attack to any party.
