The United States resumed attacks on the Islamic Republic after a five-day pause. CENTCOM says that in these operations it targeted dozens of sites of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), including command centers and missile, drone, and coastal defense facilities.
The new attacks began after Donald Trump, the U.S. president, in response to the Islamic Republic’s missile attack on U.S. forces in Jordan, said: “Now it’s our turn,” and warned that Washington would respond “with very great force.”
