〰❌〰 CENTCOM:
Over the past several hours, Iranian state media have continued to report false claims by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)—especially three cases.
🚫 First claim: The IRGC (once again) claims that open and free routes through the Strait of Hormuz are dangerous for commercial ships.
✅ Reality: The immediate dangers facing commercial ships and their civilian crews are the verbal threats and attempts by the IRGC to carry out attacks.
🚫 Second claim: The IRGC claims that three U.S. stealth F-35 fighter jets and three other aircraft were destroyed during Iran’s recent attack on a U.S. air base.
✅ Reality: No U.S. aircraft has been destroyed or damaged in Iran’s recent attacks. All missiles and drones were intercepted or failed to reach the target areas.
🚫 Third claim: Iranian state media report that a commercial oil tanker, M/T Nora, has broken the U.S. blockade.
✅ Reality: This commercial ship has been unable to get through the steel wall of the U.S. blockade. More than 20 U.S. warships, hundreds of aircraft, and thousands of military personnel remain on alert and continue to carry out the blockade in full.
