🔻 Iranian media have reported that Ahmad Daniamali, the sports minister, in a meeting with the managers of the Football Federation, and the clubs Esteghlal and Tractor, two Iranian representatives in the AFC Champions League Elite, as well as the coach of the Iran Under-23 national team, have reached an understanding regarding the participation of players from these two teams in the Asian Games in Nagoya.

🔹 Earlier, it had been said that Esteghlal and Tractor would not make their players available to the Iran Under-23 team due to the coincidence of their important matches in the Persian Gulf Pro League and the AFC Champions League Elite.

🔹 Some media outlets had also reported such a decision, citing Mahdi Tartar, the coach of Persepolis.

🔹 According to IRNA, following the meeting between the sports minister and the head of the Football Federation and the managers of Esteghlal and Tractor, it is expected that “the Football Federation, the Under-23 national team, and the clubs Esteghlal and Tractor, through interaction and cooperation, will coordinate their plans in such a way that, while meeting the needs of the Under-23 national team on the path of the Asian Games and the great goal of reaching the Olympics, the conditions for the two Iranian representatives to participate successfully in the AFC Champions League Elite will also be taken into account.”
