🔶 Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs places three British entities on the list of “reciprocal measures”

Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Sunday, 10 Aban, through a statement that, in response to “hostile actions” by the United Kingdom, it has placed three British entities on the list of “reciprocal measures.” According to the statement, the United Kingdom’s foreign intelligence service (MI6) has been recognized as a “hostile group” under Note 2 to Article 1 of the law “Toughening the Penalties for Espionage and Cooperation with Israel and Hostile States for National Security,” and the provisions of this law will be applied in relation to this British entity.

The Iranian foreign ministry also classified the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom as “terrorist organizations” under the law “Reciprocal Action in Response to the designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a Terrorist Organization by the United States of America.”

In its statement, the ministry accused the British government of “hostile actions” against the Islamic Republic by “participating” in the war between the United States and Israel against Iran through “providing bases and military and logistical facilities,” and also by placing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on the list of threats to the security of the United Kingdom.
