🔶"Iran is prolonging the talks to weaken Trump politically"

In a report on Tuesday, October 20, Reuters, referring to “concerns about the resumption of military attacks and Tehran’s deep lack of trust in Washington,” said it has seen a reduced willingness on Iran’s part to reach a quick agreement to end the war.

Three senior Iranian officials and one person familiar with internal Iranian affairs, all of whom spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity, said that Tehran believes the U.S. president is ready to resume military attacks in order to break the war stalemate that has been ongoing for eight months since the start.

One of these officials said: “Iran is preparing for renewed Israeli and American attacks, not for an agreement with the United States to end the war. The ruling structure of the determined clerics will not allow Trump to achieve political victory.”
