Human trafficking; an industry that makes money from people’s bodies, labor, and fear

Human trafficking is one of the most profitable and hidden forms of exploitation in the world. Millions of people, from children and migrants to women and workers, are trapped in a cycle of deception, violence, and coercion—a cycle that continues to leave physical, psychological, and social effects even after freedom.

A seemingly attractive job offer: good pay, an airline ticket, accommodation, and a job in the field of marketing, customer service, or technology. But after arriving at the destination, the person faces a different reality; their passport is taken, their mobile phone is confiscated, the doors are locked, and they are forced to trick dozens of strangers every day on social media. Failure to meet the quota set out leads to beatings, electric shocks, hunger, confinement, or being sold to another group.
