🔻After UEFA, CONCACAF announced that all 41 federations in this confederation rejected Gianni Infantino’s plan as FIFA president to establish “FIFA Forward Enterprise” and to sell part of the commercial interests of the World Cup to private investors, and called for greater transparency and full compliance with FIFA governance mechanisms.

🔹All 41 CONCACAF members held a meeting on Thursday to review these proposals.

🔹Citing a source familiar with the meeting, The Athletic wrote that a clear majority of CONCACAF members believe they are losing their trust in Gianni Infantino, the president of FIFA. Some also said they have lost trust.

🔹A second source also described this as somewhat stronger than its own understanding of the meeting, but confirmed that there are widespread concerns about the current leadership approach and transparency in FIFA.

🔹After the meeting concluded, CONCACAF issued a statement announcing that it rejected these proposals.

🔹On Thursday evening, UEFA said that all 55 of its European members will boycott all FIFA competitions, including the World Cup, if this plan is not dropped.
