HRANA website reported that Sepهر Amirzadeh, one of the detainees of Iran’s National Revolution, has been sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court on the charge of “waging war against God,” and the issued verdict is currently under review at the Supreme Court.

According to this report, security forces arrested Amirzadeh on Dey 23, 1404 (January 13, 2026) in connection with nationwide protests at his home in Isfahan. After going through interrogation procedures, he was transferred to Handesht (Dastgerd) Prison in Isfahan and is still being held there.

HRANA wrote that as of now, details of the case, including the specific example of the charge of “waging war against God” against Amirzadeh, have not been disclosed and investigations in this regard

Sepهر Amirzadeh, born in 1382 and from Ramhormoz in Khuzestan, is a teacher and a player of the ney anban (a traditional bagpipe-like instrument) and lives in Isfahan.
