🔻 Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has reacted to recent remarks by Emmanuel Macron about Iran’s nuclear program by posting online, writing on X — Twitter — as follows:

“Shortly before the U.S. president in 2018 withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal, Emmanuel Macron, in a speech at the U.S. Congress, stated: ‘France will not withdraw from the JCPOA, because we have signed this agreement. But today he claims that he has always opposed any ‘nuclear activity’ by Iran. Mr. President, finally make your position clear!’”
