🔶 Gharibabadi: While opposing the Southern Corridor, we have closed the Strait of Hormuz again
The deputy legal and international affairs minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, referring to developments related to the Strait of Hormuz, said that the decision to close the Strait of Hormuz was taken and carried out directly by Iran.
Kazem Gharibabadi, who spoke on Monday (5 Mordad) at the conference “Lawyers, Martyrs of Their Cause,” referring to the recent negotiation process, said: “After the Islamic Republic of Iran, following the crimes of the United States and more than two weeks ago, once again closed the Strait of Hormuz, talks were held in Oman.”
Apparently, what Gharibabadi meant by “the crimes of the United States” was this country’s cooperation and coordination with Oman in launching the Southern Corridor.
