🔻French President Emmanuel Macron, in a televised address, called the violence of the recent days in the streets of France unjustifiable and urged the separation of protesters from rioters. He emphasized that those who have carried out acts of destruction and looting must pay the cost and price for what they have done. The address comes after that, following the latest round of protests in France, more than 1,800 people were arrested across the country yesterday, and about 500 police officers and firefighters were also injured.
