Donald Trump, the president of the United States, 9 days before Israel’s election, by announcing full support for Benjamin Netanyahu, said that continuing cooperation with him to counter the Islamic Republic is necessary and warned that if Tehran does not change its behavior, the United States will take action to “finish the job.”

Netanyahu, too, welcomed Trump’s support and stressed the continuation of the two countries’ joint mission against the Islamic Republic. At the same time, Abbas Araqchi, the foreign minister of the Islamic Republic, in response to these threats, said that Tehran has “unfinished business” with the United States.
