French police dispersed dozens of students who had blocked the entrance to the «Émile Zola» high school in the city of Rennes with garbage bins.

The protests are continuing as authorities have closed around 400 schools across France.

Students and educational staff are protesting against a shortage of manpower and poor learning conditions, and France’s education minister is scheduled to meet with unions and student associations.
