Four years after the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement, a memorial ceremony was held in Germany for Nika Shakarami, a 16-year-old protester whose name and image became one of the symbols of this movement. The ceremony was held on the occasion of Nika’s birthday and the anniversary of her burial, with her mother, Naserin Shakarami, in attendance.
