🔸 Following drone attacks by Ukraine on Moscow and surrounding areas, two people were killed and an oil refinery in Russia’s capital was also targeted.

🔸 Russian officials announced on Sunday, September 29, that these attacks were carried out coinciding with the last day of parliamentary elections in the country.

🔸 Moscow’s mayor said that since Saturday, more than 1,600 Ukrainian drones had been shot down, with about 450 of them heading toward Moscow.

🔸 According to him, several drones reached the grounds of an oil refinery in Moscow, and one drone also hit a residential building. However, no casualties were reported inside the city of Moscow.

🔸 Ukraine has not yet commented on these attacks.

🔸 The attacks continue as Donald Trump, the U.S. president, had announced last week that Russia and Ukraine had agreed to halt attacks on each other’s energy infrastructure.
