European intelligence services warn: Moscow is planning an action against NATO

🔸Following Poland’s warning about the possibility of combined Russian attacks on this country during the coming winter, European intelligence service officials, in talks with The Guardian, raised the possibility that Russia could carry out an action in the near future to test capabilities and NATO’s response.

🔸These warnings were issued after Donald Tusk, the prime minister of Poland, on 26 Mehr told the parliament of this country that intelligence assessments indicate Russia may, in the coming months, carry out an attack with a drone or a missile on the territory of one of NATO’s member states.

🔸Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, also called Tusk’s warnings “documented and reliable.”

🔸These concerns come amid an increase in Russian and Ukrainian air attacks against each other over the past week.

🔸The warnings are publicized after Donald Trump, the U.S. president, on Thursday, 5 Mehr, told reporters that he had “good conversations” with Vladimir Putin and is confident that Russia’s president will not attack NATO territory.
