Following the holding of a marathon at Tehran’s Velayat Park, in which some women participated without compulsory hijab, the management of the Tehran Seminary, in a statement, called on the judiciary to take, “with decisiveness, precision, speed, and without hesitation,” a “deterrent برخورد” against any person or group that played a role in organizing this program.

In another part of the statement, the management of the Tehran Seminary said that pressing for accountability in this regard is not a partisan or political matter, but rather a religious, revolutionary, social, and unity-creating duty, and that it will not allow “the normalization of norm-breaking and the gradual removal of the taboo of law-breaking and disrespect for Islamic values” to eliminate them from society.
