Prince Reza Pahlavi, speaking at the second edition of the “Cyrus the Great” event in Toronto, said that a communications and organizing network of opponents is active across different layers of society, and that the Islamic Republic denies the existence of these networks because it is unable to stop them. He added that some of the civilian and military forces of the Islamic Republic have declared their separation from the government through secure communication channels, and that the “inactive leakage” phase is underway within the structure of the Islamic Republic—a phase, he said, in which forces remain in the structure in appearance, but no longer have their former function for the government.
