Mehdi Vaezi, senior analyst at Iran International, said: «A new political generation in Iran—the generation of the four uprisings and the National Revolution of the Lion and Sun—has paid a heavy price; from those who have lost their lives and imprisonment to being expelled from university, getting wounded, and death sentences that continue to this day. Despite all these costs, this generation has neither gone back nor bowed down; its slogan against the Islamic Republic is “Bowing down is forbidden,” and to stand by it, it is willing to give even its own life.»
