Farshteh Pezeshk, an international relations expert, in response to Donald Trump’s remarks about delivering hard blows to the Iranian government, said it appears that despite opposition and pressure, Trump does not intend to end the war with the Islamic Republic.

She added that if the Islamic Republic hands over its nuclear program to the United States, it would inevitably also need to change ideologically; however, according to her, there are currently no signs of such a change.
