🔺Emergency National Security Meeting in Iraq After Attacks by the United States and Saudi Arabia

◾ On Wednesday, the prime minister and commander-in-chief of Iraq’s armed forces, after airstrikes on the territory of this country, ordered the formation of an emergency meeting of the National Security Ministerial Council.

◾ The attacks were carried out in response to more than 30 drone attacks that are said to have been directed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps over the past 72 hours.

◾ The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) said that some of its official headquarters across Iraq were targeted by what it called “terrorist” attacks by American and Saudi forces.

◾ A security source told Shefaq News that explosions have been reported in Basra, Karbala, Wasit, and the Nineveh Plains, and that at least four people have been killed so far. The PMF command in Nineveh separately reported eight dead and four injured.
