Some of the protesters have suffered eye injuries, broken teeth, and head blows during these clashes. The protests began nearly two weeks ago in Paris and then spread across France. Students are protesting shortages of teachers, overcrowded classes, intensive study schedules, and the wear and tear of school buildings. University students have also joined the protests in some cities. Protesters say they will continue the protests.
