🔻Donald Trump told the Financial Times that there is currently no plan for an immediate attack on Iran.

The US president, a few hours before the end of voting in the congressional election, told the newspaper in a six-minute phone call: “It seems we’re going to get everything we want.”

Donald Trump described the situation as “brilliant” and, referring to Iran’s naval blockade and sanctions, said the United States is “in fact” not at war with Iran:

“We’re really not at war, because we attacked them with B-2 bombers and destroyed their potential nuclear capability. Then we carried out this act of righteous anger.” He then added that “we haven’t actually been at war with them for a long time. Six months, maybe more.”

Expressing satisfaction with the current situation, he said the United States “is also prepared to continue the war.”
