🔻Iranian media focus on U.S. elections

While concerns about the resumption of military clashes between Iran and the United States have immediately risen following the end of the midterm elections in the United States, and many in Iran are talking about this, official news agencies inside the country have placed the Tuesday elections in the United States at the center of their coverage.

This year’s U.S. congressional elections are historically linked to the Strait of Hormuz, because the increase in fuel prices in the United States and, consequently, inflation and rising costs in this country have become the primary motivation for voters, such that 38% of respondents in nationwide economic surveys said it is the most important factor in their decision.
