Donald Trump, the U.S. president, said the Islamic Republic has lost most of its military capability, including the navy, the air force, and air defense systems, and that America’s goal is “victory.” He once again stressed that the Islamic Republic should never be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons.

Trump added that if the Islamic Republic were to get the atomic bomb, it would destroy the Middle East and, according to him, if Obama’s nuclear deal had not been stopped, today Israel and large parts of the Middle East would no longer exist. He also said that the United States would strike Iran hard enough that, in his view, “there would be no choice but to surrender.”
