Donald Trump, the U.S. president, denied that limiting Ukraine’s access to the Starshield internet network was done.

He said: “This wasn’t my doing, and I don’t think it was [Elon Musk]’s either.”

Earlier, Reuters reported, citing two U.S. officials and a Western official, that an order to restrict the “Starshield” satellite system for Ukraine was issued from inside the White House.

The Ukrainian army uses Starshield service—which is the military version of Starlink satellite internet—for communications on the battlefield and for drone operations.

On Tuesday, after the network’s speed was reduced, Ukraine was hit by several deadly attacks by Russia.
