According to reports by news agencies on Friday night, two missiles hit the grounds of Aden International Airport in southern Yemen.

According to these reports, as a result of the attack, passengers on an aircraft preparing to fly to Cairo were evacuated. This is the second missile attack on the Aden airport in about the past ten days.

Officials in Aden said that the two missiles landed at a distance of 500 meters from the aircraft that was preparing to take off.

Referring to the fact that all passengers and crew are safe, these officials called the attacks on the airport a “flagrant violation of international laws and norms.”
