Donald Trump, the President of the United States, said that if the Iranian government obtained nuclear weapons, it might have targeted European countries and cities such as Los Angeles and San Diego in the United States as well, after the attack on Israel and other parts of the Middle East.

Trump said on Friday, Mehr 17, at a Columbus Day event at the White House that the Islamic Republic was only two to three weeks away from obtaining nuclear weapons before the bombing missions of the US B-2 aircraft.

He said that if the Islamic Republic gained access to this weapon, the Iranian government would have used it quickly and would have targeted Israel first and then other parts of the Middle East.

The US president added that European countries would likely have been exposed to such an attack before the United States, and that cities such as Los Angeles and San Diego could also have been among possible targets.

Trump said: “There’s no need to worry about this anymore. They will not obtain nuclear weapons.”
