Donald Trump, the President of the United States, said on Wednesday evening at the White House that the United States has been present in a war with the Islamic Republic for six months and that their military capability has been “completely wiped out.” Trump said: “You will see very soon that things will happen.” He described the Islamic Republic as “nearly destroyed,” and added that Iran’s economy is not in a good situation and that inflation has risen to more than 300 percent. Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, he said that the United States has “almost complete” control over this strait, and in his view this control is “complete.” Continuing, the U.S. president said: “Their army has been completely wiped out and we will win this war very quickly; in any way.”
