🔻Donald Trump’s speech at an election rally in Ohio

Donald Trump attended and delivered a speech at an election rally in Ohio in support of Republican Party candidates.

The U.S. president asked his supporters to take part in the upcoming election as if they were voting for him.

In his speech on Columbus Day, the U.S. president criticized efforts to remove his name from institutions and public programs, and said that Christopher Columbus is a national hero while the “Italian-American legacy” and the history of the United States are being belittled.

Trump also said that the city of Cleveland has been chosen as the location for the new base for the U.S. Navy’s submarine parts repair center, and called the project a major victory for the state of Ohio.

At the rally, several protesters were escorted out of the venue, which was met with mocking remarks from Trump and heckling of the attendees.
