Donald Trump, the president of the United States, called a new agreement between the “Gaza Peace Panel” and Hamas for the group’s complete disarmament a “historic breakthrough.”

According to the statement, the agreement is a vital step so that the Gaza Strip in the future will be administered by a new Palestinian state in close cooperation with the peace panel. Trump emphasized that by implementing this plan and bringing an end to terrorist attacks from Gaza, Israel will also be provided with the security it deserves. The agreement will be carried out based on a 20-article plan, which includes gradual disarmament, the deployment of international forces, and the transfer of management to a technocratic state. Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey have been the main mediators of this agreement.
