Trump announced a “historic” agreement for the complete disarmament of Hamas in Gaza.

Trump said the Peace Council had reached an agreement for the complete disarmament of Hamas and other armed groups in Gaza and described it as a “great step toward peace and lasting security.”

Under this agreement, Gaza will be administered by a new Palestinian government that cooperates with the Peace Council, and Israel will obtain the security that, according to Trump, it deserves.

This process will be carried out in precisely planned stages: as disarmament of Israeli forces progresses, they will withdraw, and an international stabilizing force together with a new Palestinian police force will take over security.

Trump thanked Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey for brokering the talks and warned that the threat that emerged from Gaza on October 7 would never be allowed to be rebuilt.
