🔺 Dollar, with continued record-breaking, surpasses 265,000 tomans
▪ The dollar exchange rate in Iran’s open market on Saturday, 11 Mehr, crossed 265,000 tomans and is also seeing fluctuations above 266,000 tomans. The euro rate has also reached the 300,000-toman mark, and each British pound is being traded above 352,000 tomans.
▪ Overall, the rates of various foreign currencies against Iran’s national currency experienced an increase of more than two percent in the Saturday morning.
▪ The continued fall in the value of Iran’s rial comes as the Central Bank on Saturday claimed it was injecting $2 billion in foreign currency to manage the market, and announced that citizens over 18 years old can take steps to meet their currency needs up to a limit of $10,000. The Central Bank has not specified the exchange rate of the currency it is providing.
