🔸 Deputy Minister of Health, in a TV interview, described the situation of medical schools in terms of the large number of students as being like human-trafficking vehicles.

🔸 Tahereh Chingiz said medical science faculties that have admitted more than twice the capacity of students are like human-trafficking vehicles in which, when opened, the population gushes out.

🔸 In another part of her remarks, the deputy minister of education of the Ministry of Health also reported the implementation of the odd-even scheme in clinical classes in some medical schools due to a lack of facilities.

🔸 The “Law for Increasing the Capacity of Medical Students” was implemented starting in 1401, for four years, based on a decision of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, with the aim of compensating for the shortage of doctors.

🔸 Under this directive, the annual intake capacity increased by 20% and reached about 16,000 people per year.

🔸 The Ministry of Health has repeatedly called for a reduction of this capacity, warning that the quality of education will decline due to insufficient infrastructure, but the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution has not yet agreed to this reduction.
