Bloomberg, citing Kepler data, reports that over the past two months the United Arab Emirates has exported more oil through the Strait of Hormuz than any other country.

Based on this report, since the beginning of June until the end of July, the UAE has sent 130 million barrels of oil to global markets.

Overall, the UAE’s oil exports—whether through the Strait of Hormuz or from the port of Fujairah in the Sea of Oman—have surpassed even the levels from before the war.

The report adds that, with the purchase of oil tankers at very high prices, the UAE began the daring transfer of oil through the Strait of Hormuz; after the tankers carrying the UAE’s crude oil leave the Strait of Hormuz, their cargo is usually transferred in the Gulf of Oman to another tanker and then exported to destinations of buyers around the world.

In addition, the UAE has a pipeline line to bypass the Strait of Hormuz, which helps keep this country’s oil export levels high.
