CNN, citing a U.S. official, reported that Washington believes it has provided Saudi Arabia with all the intelligence support and targeting data necessary for success against the Houthis.

According to CNN and citing several sources, neither the United States nor Saudi Arabia has a specific plan for pushing back the Houthis backed by the Islamic Republic.

A regional source also told CNN: “The Houthis’ attacks and conditions near the Bab al-Mandab Strait have affected the agreement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.”
