Brad Cooper, commander of the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) headquarters, says in its latest update on the situation in the Strait of Hormuz that U.S. forces over the past two months have provided the necessary support for the transit of more than 2,000 commercial ships and the transfer of more than one billion barrels of crude oil through this strait.
