Based on information provided to Iran International by an informed source, Behzad Yazdani, a Baha’i citizen living in Shiraz, has been held in limbo in Adelabad Prison in Shiraz for more than 180 days, without access to a lawyer, and without a trial being held or a sentence issued.
According to this information, the Baha’i citizen was arrested at his home on the ninth of Farvardin (April 8) by the IRGC Intelligence. According to Yazdani’s family, so far, no response has been given by the judicial authorities regarding setting bail or granting him conditional release, and his family is constantly faced with the answers: “The case is under review” and “Think that Mr. Yazdani is serving his sentence.”
