Axios news website says that, according to statements by two regional sources and a U.S. official, the United States, the Islamic Republic, and Oman have moved closer to a temporary agreement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and Washington is trying to announce this agreement on Wednesday. Under this agreement, during a temporary 60-day period for reopening the Strait of Hormuz, no fees or charges will be collected from passing ships.
