🔻Axel Hellmann, CEO of Eintracht Frankfurt and a member of the board of the German Football Association (DFB), said that this country should be one of the main options to host the men’s World Cup in 2038 or 2042.

🔹In an interview with The Athletic, he emphasized that Germany has “all the necessary infrastructure” to hold these competitions.

🔹Brandt Neurendorf, head of the German Football Association, had previously said that the federation would consider the issue of submitting a bid for hosting in the future. Hellmann also said: “We have a lot of interest in this matter, and Neurendorf and the German Football Association have taken the initiative to submit a bid to host the 2042 and perhaps 2038 World Cup. Of course, everything depends on FIFA regulations.”

🔹Donald Trump, the U.S. president, had previously said he is interested in having his country host the men’s World Cup again. Andrew Giuliani, director of the World Cup working group at the White House, also said that the United States even has the ability to host a 64-team World Cup.
