🔻Atletico reports Barcelona and Manchester City have reached a preliminary agreement worth €76.5 million for the transfer of Rodri. City will receive €60 million as the base amount, and the additional bonuses included in this deal are expected to be assessed as attainable.

🔹According to this outlet, no issues are expected in reaching an agreement over personal terms with Rodri, the Spain national team player who played a prominent role this summer in his country’s 2026 World Cup triumph. Barcelona, La Liga champion, has offered him a four-year contract.

🔹Ten days ago, Barcelona submitted an offer of around €45 million, plus bonuses, to sign Rodri. Before that, Spain’s champion had been informed that Manchester City wants a sum close to €80 million in order to approve Rodri’s departure.

🔹A move to Barcelona will add the winner of the 2024 Ballon d’Or to seven Spain-team players at the 2026 World Cup (Juan García, Eric García, Pau Cubarsí, Gavi, Dani Olmo, Pedri, and Lamine Yamal).
