🔶 Arrest of an armed man at Trump’s golf course

Two days before the scheduled trip of U.S. President Donald Trump to his golf course in the state of California, an armed man was detained at the venue.

According to police, the 38-year-old man was being watched by plainclothes officers. Police said he had been moving around the golf course grounds, located near Los Angeles, and had displayed suspicious behavior. Trump was scheduled to visit the golf club shortly after this.

As it has now been determined, the suspect was arrested last Sunday, when he “was moving around the golf course grounds, taking photos and videos, and apparently monitoring security-planning activities.”

According to police, a handgun and a number of bullets were found on him and inside the vehicle. The 38-year-old man is from the city of Downey, near the site of the incident.

The Trump National golf club is located in the area of “Rancho Palos Verdes” near Los Angeles. Donald Trump was supposed to take part in a Republican Party dinner at the venue a few days later.
