🔶 Number of victims of the Venezuela earthquake has passed 6,100

Jorge Rodríguez, the head of Venezuela’s National Assembly, announced that the death toll from the two severe earthquakes in the country in June has reached at least 6,125 people.

Official figures for missing persons have not yet been released, but two unofficial websites have provided different numbers.

The website “Disappeared Venezuela Earthquake” says that families and acquaintances are still searching for about 30,000 people.

Another website called “Venezuela is Looking for You” has put the number of missing persons at nearly 18,000.

The process of clearing the rubble has not yet been completed.

According to Jorge Rodríguez, so far 346,000 tons of rubble have been collected; a figure that accounts for about 17% of the estimated total rubble.
