An Airbus A320 passenger plane traveling from Dublin to Rome was diverted on Thursday, 14 Aban, following a bomb threat warning to the “Orly” air base in France.

Reuters reported that the office of Sébastien Lecornu, France’s prime minister, said it is monitoring the plane’s situation. No further details were announced about the outcome of the inspection or the status of the passengers.

The incident occurred after a wave of similar threats across Europe. On Tuesday, at least seven flights and a cruise ship bound for Israel were targeted by bomb threats, but no explosives were found in the inspections.

The threats led to diversions of the flights, inspections of the planes, and a temporary closure of the Modlin Airport in Warsaw.

Italian fighter jets also escorted one flight to Rome, and the “Crown Iris” ship in the port of Syros, Greece, was placed under security inspection.
